Flip Pal Portable Scanner

NEW to the UK
So popular already with Family Historians in the USA|

Memories, photographs and stories bind families together across the generations. Sharing, preserving and storing these memories are very important to any Family Historian and serious Genealogist.

How many times whilst doing your research have you come across a photograph, image, newspaper article or a document that you wished you could just have a copy? Perhaps the owner (even a close relative) is reluctant to let this precious memory leave their side. Maybe you have no time or the equipment to take a copy there and then. With the Flip-Pal™ mobile scanner never again do you need to lose the opportunity to collect this information even if the photographs are mounted in a photo album! (Scanner only 10" x 6" approx.)

The Flip-Pal™ battery powered mobile scanner will solve all of these problems. Take advantage of the patented flip-and-scan technology to scan documents and even photos safely while they are still in the album or frame.

Scanning of larger documents and photographs is so easy. By scanning in sections and then using the seamless “stitching software” to combine into one perfect replica of the original with no joins visible.

Find out more, view accessories and see all the technical specifications at Family Tree Folk. Then just place your order and start scanning on the move!

Archival Safe Photo Pen

Our archival safe photo Signature pen is acid free and a pen that can be safely used not only on the backs of photographs but also on the front. Acid free ink should be used not only for protecting your photographs but also for the longevity of what you have written.

Using normal non acid free ink can not only harm your photographs and documents but the ink will almost certainly fade and not preserve your information for long term.

We have just secured a large order of these pens from the Manx Museum on the Isle of Man http://www.gov.im/mnh/heritage/museums/manxmuseum.xml

Certainly archivists and museums etc know how to safely archive documents, photographs and artifacts. If you have any questions on preserving your Family History please contact us or visit our Archiving section at
